Who will be the
2021 Champions?

With the final rounds this weekend, the Men's round 3 on Saturday and finals for both the Men and Ladies on the Sunday we have only to wait until Sunday to see who will be the 2021 Club Champions. Click here to see the current leader boards. Good luck to all in the final rounds.

Presentations are at 5:30pm on Sunday in the Club House for the Men's, Ladies & Juniors (Final last weekend) all welcome and encouraged to attend and celebrate our winners. Note: the Vets Champions will not be decided until their final round on Monday.

Bookings are Now Open - Sat 4 December 6:30pm $65 per person. Free drink on arrival with cheese platter, traditional Christmas dinner followed by plum pudding with brandy custard. A night of cabaret style entertainment with Grant Newsome and the announcement of our Club Person of the Year! Don’t miss out on this great night, celebrating us all being together again after an unusual year. This is the time we get to acknowledge one of our many Members who with the volunteering of their time, help make us the community Club we are so proud of. Book your tickets now.

Ladies Presentation Day

The ladies end of season Presentation Day will be held on Tuesday 30 November. This is a fun day and we hope that all of you will be able to join us.

The day will start with a 9 hole competition using only One Club and a Putter. Book as normal online and pay the green fees on the day to the Pro Shop. This will be followed at 12:30pm by a 2 course Xmas Lunch with a glass of bubbles on arrival. The cost of the lunch is $20 per person.

For catering purposes please place your money in an envelope with your name on the front in the Ladies Events slot in the locker room by 23rd November.

This year we will be celebrating only the achievements of those who have won events that were completed before lockdown. So please come along and help us to celebrate.

Vets' Update

Those members who wish to either renew their membership or join the NSW Veterans Golf Association, please contact Committee Member Charles Kinder. Charles is a regular player so either catch him at the Club or you can contact him on his mobile as listed in the current Fixtures Handbook.

Cost for the year is $5.50.

The 2^nd and final round of the Vets' Championship is on this coming Monday 8 November. All bookings are as per the 1^st Round.

Lady Veteran's Party Day

"IT'S BACK" 18 NOVEMBER 2021

Our Party Day is back, so join us for a fun day.
Nine holes of golf to be played on either the front or back nine with scores entered by computer as usual. Starts from 7.30am & pay at the Pro Shop for the nine holes. AGM at 12.30pm followed by LUNCH at 1pm.

GOLF TWO TEES: Nine holes on Front or Back. Division 1 (0-27) Division 2 (28-36) Division 3 (37-45) Best Nett. 1st-2nd-3rd winners in each division. Straightest Drive and NTP's in the first 2 divisions.

Any Lady who is not a member of the North Ryde Lady Veterans and would like to join us on our fun day, please see Cheryl Ward or Marlene Peters to become a member.

Lunch will be served in the Auditorium at 1pm approx. Price $25 per person including a bottle of red and white per table. A sheet will be in our locker room for names of those wishing to come.

PLEASE NOTE: Lunch must be paid for by 12 November. Please put your money in an envelope with your name and place in the Veteran's Event Box. Make up your tables of ten and give names to Cheryl or Marlene "or at the same time as the money would be nice".

DONATIONS: Any unwanted gifts would be appreciated as contributions towards our raffle.

We all need some fun in our lives, so hope to see you all on the 18th.

This week we hosted another great Melbourne Cup event at the Club, with everyone out to have a great day! Excellent food, sweeps, smiles, laughter and cheering as everyone celebrated for those who won. For the rest of the photos taken on the day just click through to this LINK.

Please Pick Up Your Bag Tags

We still have a lot of members who have not picked up their tags. Please pick them up from the Office Mon-FRI 9am-5pm or SAT 10am-3pm

Have You Noticed a few more changes this week moving towards our new practice nets with the blocks filled with concrete and the artificial turf mats installed. Watch this space for the final stages before our grand opening. Another new piece of equipment you may have seen around the course is our new red electric greens roller improving the firmness of the putting surface. This new electric roller enables the greens to be rolled early in the morning without disturbing our neighbours.
