Due to further lifting of the COVID-19 restrictions, as of this Saturday October 23 we are pleased to confirm the following:

Play the ball as it lies
Flags may be lifted
Rakes are back
Sand buckets are back
Ball washers are operational
Water bubblers are back on

Booking Rules for Ladies
Ladies, please remember if you have had a game on Tuesday, you must not log in on Friday to book a game for the following Thursday until after 5:30pm (not before).

Slow Play
A round of golf is meant to be played at a prompt pace. Each player should recognise that his or her pace of play is likely to affect how long it will take other players to complete their round. This includes players in your own group and those in the following groups. Please be ready to play your stroke. It is recommended in Rule 5.6b that you should not take longer than 40 seconds to do so.

Club Championships
There seems to be some confusion regarding the notice that was put in the 19th News last week regarding the Club Championships. To clarify this, if you have qualified and have been drawn to play in the Sunday rounds of the Club Championships, you must play both Sunday rounds. The suspension only applies if you fail to play both of the Sunday rounds.

Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
and on Saturdays 10am - 3pm

All Bag Tags are printed with each members name and member number, don't forget to come and grab it.

Congratulations Michael

Wednesday Night 20 October we saw our 4th finalist's bar receipt draw from the barrel, congratulations Michael.

On the final draw night (27 April, 2022), Michael will be one of our lucky members in with a great chance to WIN the Car, the red MG3 Excite parked in our Foyer.

Members, both social & playing, get your Main Bar receipts into the barrel. Be here on any of the draw nights at 6:30pm for the chance to WIN the car on the final night. Five more draw nights to come and chances to WIN!!

Based on current timing and weather permitting, keep an eye out for the following construction steps for our new practice nets - blocks to be delivered, then after this a bricklayer will be on site to complete laying the blocks, these will then be core-filled with concrete. On the completion of this, the synthetic turf and the nets will be erected and then all going well we are planning on a Grand opening towards the end of November.

Oct 25 Mon - Vets Championships - Round 1
Oct 26 Tue - Ladies Championships (Div 1 - 4) Round 2
Oct 30 Sat - Championships Round 2 - A, A Reserve, B, C & D Grades (Players with 12 best scratch scores in each grade for 1st & 2nd qualify for 3rd & 4th Rounds)
Oct 31 Sun - Ladies Championships (Div 1 - 4) Round 3
With the changes to outdoor public gatherings we have now again started to play a 2 Ball Team + Individual Stableford on Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday, with Monday, Tuesday & Thursday continuing to be Single Stableford. This will continue until 1 December when we will revert back to the fixture book
