Ladies Update
Summer Cup The Summer Cup was reduced to 5 rounds this year with Round 3 being cancelled as the course was closed due to heavy rain in the preceding days. Round 2 was almost washed out as well but 24 players braved the conditions to complete the round. All other rounds had an average of 106 players with some great winning scores each week ranging between 37 and 44 points.
The winner of the Summer Cup was Anita Lee with 10 points. Runner up was Carmen Fife on 8 points. There were three .....

Lady Veterans
Please make a note in your fixture book that the Lady Veterans Invitation Day is on Thursday 25 March - Due to COVID restrictions the Club is currently not hosting visitors so this will be a Club only event. It will be an Irish Team Stableford (team of four) with prizes for the best nett score.
Please note Course Renovations on March 15 & 16. There is a VWGA Event on March 15 at the Coast Golf Course. It is a 2BBB, cost is $40 per person and a great chance to play at another course. Entry forms can be found ...

transfer all prize winnings to either the house or pro-shop account
use the remainder of your house levy money from 2020-21 (Not including your top ups)
redeem all golf balls - those won in Jan. by end Feb. and those won in Feb. by end March

6pm your Board will provide an insight into the Membership, Sporting,
Financial, Administrative and Operational aspects of Your Club. Members will
also have the opportunity to ask questions in an informal setting with light
snacks and refreshments provided. So save the date and join us on March 4.

A golfer teed up his ball on the first tee, took a mighty swing, and hit his ball into a clump of trees. He found his ball and saw an opening between 2 trees he thought he could hit through.
Taking out his 3-wood, he took a mighty swing. The ball hit a tree, bounced back, hit him in the forehead and killed him.
As he approached the gates of Heaven, St. Peter asked, "Are you a good golfer?"
