Course Report

We had our first 1st 9am "Course Works - delayed start" on Monday, 17 April this week. With this extra time we were able to undertake a light 'top dressing' of sand on all of our greens which greatly benefits them moving forward.

The sand needed about 2 hours to dry and was then rubbed in with a large synthetic grass mat in front of play.

We do this to improve smoothness/firmness and for a more consistent ball roll for our players.

See photos depicting this process.

Darts Report

Wednesday, 5 April our A grade North Ryde Golf Club darts team came away with an exciting victory against the previously undefeated Garry Owen Hotel team.

Both teams played exceptionally, with the final score being 9-6.

It was a nail biting game which saw the North Ryde team claw its way back for the win after being down 4-2.

Special mention to Tom Crockart who inspired our team with an impressive victory in the singles over the competitions number 1 ranked player.

All members of the team brought their best games and have done the Club proud.
