Course Report

The Autumn greens renovations were completed on Monday and Tuesday with good results considering last Friday/ Saturday's rain. This process includes 12mm hollow tine coring, scarifying to remove excess thatch, followed by topdressing and fertilising as per soil test results.

The 1st cut of the greens at 4mm will occur on Monday or Tuesday of next week and be reverted back down to our normal mowing height of 3mm by the close of the week.

Finally, the course dried out enough this week to mow all areas, even though there are still some very wet pockets in a number of places. Please be aware as you move around the course, many sections of turf could still be slippery, so please be careful. With these continuing conditions there are still no Carts.

Ron Duffy - Course Superintendent
