Course Opens Wednesday 16 March
Dear Members, although the course is currently closed, we are pleased to announce we will be open from Wednesday this week, 16 March for play once again. As you can imagine with the current conditions still wet underfoot, no CARTS at this stage.
Regretfully, due to the recent, prolonged wet weather and in the best interests of the health of your course, the yearly Course Renovations had to be postponed by one week as we would have caused more damage than good if they had proceeded. We appreciate the sacrifices you have made in not being able to play these last few weeks and accordingly we are working hard to get you back. While the Course Renovations will be undertaken on Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 March, we have managed to offer a one-tee start for Lady members playing off the first tee from 1pm Tuesday 22 March. This Thursday, 17 March, four additional groups will be added to the competition to allow as many Ladies the opportunity to play as possible. Lastly, following the Vets competition on Monday 28 March, we are happy to announce the commencement of a new Competition with the format and times to follow. Please see below summary of changes to fixtures due to the recent closures. - Wed 16 March - Course OPENS, no Carts until notified
- Thurs 19 March - Four extra groups added to Ladies Comp
- Sat 19 March - Captains Trophy rescheduled
- Mon 21 & Tue 22 March -.Course Closed (until 1pm Tue as noted above) as Course Renovations have been moved
- Thurs 24 March - Irish Team Stableford no longer a Invitational - full comp 148 spots for our Lady Members
- Mon 28 March - Vets Competition followed by new competition, details TBA
