2023 Board Elections

Voting closes 5pm next Friday 23 June 2023.
All members have been sent voting procedures with a unique code to vote online. If you can't find your email from myvote.com.au it may be in your junk or spam folder. If you can't find it or did not receive a letter, please contact the office and we will be able to assist you.

To cast your vote, you need access to a computer and the internet. If this is not possible, you may cast your vote using a dedicated computer located at the Club reception, during office hours.

Vote for the 2023-2025 Directors on the landing page after logging in with your member number and voting code by clicking on the names of each candidate in order of your preference before submitting your vote. If you make a mistake, you can just click on the 'Reset' button and start again. Once your vote is submitted you cannot go back in. If you vote through the browser on your phone, please turn your phone sideways to ensure you see the full page.

Beautiful Benches

In the past week you may have noticed and been able to make use of the four new hand crafted custom benches installed on the 2nd, 6th, 4th and 18th tee's making a very special and attractive addition to our course.

All seats are made here at North Ryde Golf Course from recycled timber from trees from the golf course, by our own very talented mechanic/carpenter Taylor.

Truly a beautiful and unique addition.

State of Origin

Wednesday, 21 June. See all the nail-biting action live and loud on our screen for State of Origin game 2 while you sit back in the lounges and enjoying a Burger, Chips & drink for only $18. It's a must win for NSW on the Maroons turf (Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane) as they go head-to-head to have a chance at the 2023 title.

Master Pennants

Our North Ryde Golf Club Master Pennant Team played their fifth round at home on Sunday, 11 June against Roseville Golf Club. With both Teams entering this contest undefeated a tough match was expected and delivered. In a very tight encounter, we managed a 4.5 to 3.5 win putting us at the top of the table with one round remaining.

Winners this week were: Chris Millard 5&4, Rob Righten 3&2, Greg Imber 5&3, John McKie 5&4 and Greg Sheaves halved.

Our next game is at away this coming Sunday, 18 June against Roseville. So, it all comes down to this final round with North Ryde requiring either a win or a draw to win our Section and move into the Semi-final Stage of the Division. On behalf of the Club and all its Members I would like to wish the Team all the very best moving forward.

Darts News

Unfortunately, Wednesday, 14 June our A Grade Team were beaten in the major semifinal by Neil Ballantine's Sporties 8-4. All the best to them in the Grand Final 28/6 against the very long odds on favourite's Garry Owen Team - (who only lost 1 game all year and that was against our North Ryde A Team!).

In all it was a very good season for our A Grade team who were so hoping to taste victory this year in their second year of comp. They are looking forward to playing the Summer Comp in our under construction new Sports Bar!

We now turn all our attention on to our B Grade team who will play Garry Owen (B) Team for the title in a fortnight's time on Wednesday, 28 June at Sporties. So very best of luck to Matt and Rob Cowmeadow's lads to bring home the "first ever" darts silverware for the club. Your fellow A Grade team will be there to support the boys - So go get em TIGERS !!
