The AGM was held at the conclusion of the day's round. The Committee for the next 12 months is:
- Chairman - Charles Kinder
- Captain - Scott Beatty
- Treasurer - Yaros Iwanec
- Committee Assistants - Bruce Durham and Wilfred Lazard
The Committee will consist of 5 members in lieu of the usual 6 for the next 12 months, as we did not receive any nominations for the vacancy left by the departure of Alex Bathgate after 17 years on the Committee.
We would like to thank a number of people for their contribution to our Anniversary celebrations. Firstly, the NRGC Board for their recognition of the 25 years' contribution of the Vets Division to the Club, by sponsoring the after game BBQ and drinks. This is greatly appreciated by us all.
A large thank you also to Ian Speechley, Yaros Iwanec and Steve Webster for their efforts behind the hot plates. The Committee would also like to thank all the office staff for their invaluable and appreciated assistance in so many areas, which made our Anniversary so enjoyable for everyone who attended. You were terrific.
Finally, I would like to thank the remaining members of the Committee for their contribution in organizing our Anniversary AGM and in particular Bruce Durham. Bruce spent considerable time seeking contact addresses of past Vets Members who had relocated from the Club, inviting them to join current Members in our celebrations. Past members who were able to attend, greatly appreciated his efforts to be a part of our 25th Anniversary Day.
The Committee looks forward to again providing you with enjoyable golf over the next 12 months.
