Captain's Reminder

Just a quick reminder that the new "Pace of Play Policy" comes into play this Saturday. I prompt all members to not forget, on finishing their round to immediately submit their score on the MiScore App or to scan and submit their score card.

New Pace of Play Policy

  • The First 4 groups must complete their round in 3 hours and 45 minutes and must be no more than 20 minutes behind the group in front.
  • The next 4 groups must complete their round in 4 hours and must be no more than 15 minutes behind the group in front.
  • All other groups must finish no more than 12 minutes behind the group in front.
  • For any group that exceeds the allowed time gap of the group in front, each player of the respective group will receive a letter saying that they didn’t comply with the pace of play policy.
  • If a player receives 3 letters for slow play within a 6-month period they will be required to play at the end of the field for a month.

Balls Must Finish in the Hole - Ball Lifters:

Remember balls must now finish in the hole to be counted, so move the ball lifter wire with your putter to the back of the flag to ensure the ball does not hit the wire and bounce out, thus not being counted. Please don't bend down and use your hand or touch or remove the flag.

Glenn Woodley - Captain

Course Update

In the lead up to Greens renovations, which commences on Monday 7th September, there has been much preparatory work undertaken. This includes the analysis of soil samples which have been assessed and a report completed so any soil corrections/deficiencies are carried out at this time.

The coring of the fairway will be carried out on the Monday and Tuesday while the course is closed to golfers.  This process is quite disruptive to the surface plus the debris that will be left behind will take a number of days to be cleaned up. In addition we will be scarifying, rolling, fertilizing and top dressing and will be completed by Wednesday weather permitting.

This is essential to the maintenance of our wonderful fairways. You may have noticed all sprinklers on the fairways have been circled with orange paint so to be easily seen by the contractor.
