Club Communication

In line with the NSW Government's Greater Sydney Restrictions,  your Clubhouse remains closed until 28 August but the Golf Course has been able to remain open with COVID-19 playing requirements.  We are constantly reviewing the situation in consultation with Golf NSW & Clubs NSW.

We will continue to keep you informed via our communication channels over this period especially regarding the Golf Course and any changes in conditions of play.

Please keep abreast of what is happening through the website, the 19TH NEWS and the Clubs App in notifications.  Please read signage also placed around the course to ensure you are aware of the conditions of play.

With the impact of the COVID-19 restrictions and continual changes, sometimes this means information that we distribute to players can vary from day to day. While we are in continual consultation with Golf  NSW on what the latest changes mean and how they will impact our players, there is always a grey area until they have been able to confirm with the Government on how we all proceed.  With the safety of the Club and our members paramount, we will always err on the side of caution until the rules have been clarified.

Club App - If you are not receiving notifications from the Club on your app, you need to have notifications turned on in your phone settings.  In this changing environment we suggest you turn notifications on.  If you don't have the Club App it can be downloaded from both the Google or Apple store just type in North Ryde Golf Club.

We thank you for your support and look forward to welcoming you back when we are able.

Keep healthy and stay safe.

  • No customers allowed in the Pro Shop;
  • Everyone must sign in at entrance of the Pro Shop;
  • Wear a mask: when signing in, awaiting tee off, on practise greens, at practice nets, ordering and collecting take away, on entering the Club to use toilets or locker rooms;
  • Do not touch flags but remove ball as shown in above image;
  • No rakes so preferred lies apply;
  • Sand buckets not to be shared and to be left at the side of 18th for sanitising;
  • Carts not to be shared unless members of the same household;
  • Only touch your own bag and clubs;

We thank all of those who are striving to follow the many new conditions of play and encourage those few who do not, to please consider that we are a community club and it's essential to keep everyone safe and be able to continue to offer Golf as an ongoing activity during this time.

By following these simple guidelines you help to keep Golf going!

The New Mower

NRGC took delivery of our new Toro Fairway 5510 mower this week replacing the old mower that was purchased in 2011 clocking up over 3,000 hrs of mowing time.

In this image of the new mower, is Garry our mechanic putting it through its paces for its future 3,000+ hours of mowing on our fairways.

With quality equipment purchased, the club can continue to provide the high level playing conditions for our members.

Keep an eye out on the fairways for our new mower!

A priest and a farmer are playing a round of golf.

On the first hole, the priest clasps his hands, says a prayer and shoots a hole-in-one.
When it's the farmers turn, he shoots and the ball ends up in the woods.
The farmer is furious and screams: "Goddammit I missed".
The priest tells him "If you curse one more time, god will punish you".
On the second hole, the priest clasps his hands, says a prayer and shoots another hole-in-one.
When it's the farmers turn, he shoots and this ball also ends up in the woods.
He screams "Goddammit I missed"
A loud rumble is heard and lightning strikes the *priest*.
Shortly after, a voice is heard from above the clouds saying "Goddammit I missed"

Upcoming Events
