Guests are welcome and handicaps will be allocated for those who do not have one. The Fee is $35.00 and $45 for non members - it's a 2Ball Team and Individual Stableford for Men and Women as well as Mixed. Join us for a great evening - with some balls to win, a Nearest the Pin on the 3rd hole for Men and Women. Plus a Christmas Hamper to be raffled.

The Longest Day at North Ryde

We did it! Here at North Ryde Golf Club, we are extremely proud of the 13 golfers who took on Cancer Council's The Longest Day last Tuesday 13 December and raise an amazing $4208.64 . These golfers played 72 holes of golf in one day for people impacted by cancer and deserve a round of applause.

Hams Day 2022

Another favourite event on our Christmas Calendar is Hams Day which we all enjoyed last Saturday, 10 December. With a large field competing for 59 Christmas ham prizes it was a great day on and off the course. Pictured above is the Righton family (Alexander, Robert & Matt) were just a few of the many lucky or I should say skilled competitors on the day - it will certainly be a Christmas table laddered with ham in their household. Merry Christmas.

Super Sunday

The last of our Super Sundays for the year was December 11 last week where we celebrated the wins of the last month, see the many happy faces above of our winners. Also pictured holding the cash is our lucky $1000 CASH winner, Charles Donohoe.

Charles donated his winnings to the Eugowra Public School P&C. Eugowra was devastated this year by the floods with 55% of the families still without permanent housing, school uniforms etc. a tough Christmas for them. Although this may seem a drop in the ocean, this direct and generous donation to the schools P&C can be used immediately to help a few kids get some Uniforms and new supplies for their 2023 year. Vets' Hams Day - Monday 12 December

We had another great turnout to this popular Veteran's Christmas event, with players having qualified, taking home a Christmas ham. Everyone enjoyed a barbeque snag on a roll.  Thanks to the Vets' volunteers for organising, cooking and of course cleaning up afterwards. See you next year!

A Fond Farewell

Wednesday saw the formal farewell of two of our retiring senior managers - Graham Dale our Club's GM for the past four years and Ron Duffy North Ryde's Superintendent for the past four decades!  

With a few speeches, many fond memories and stories traded, it was a great opportunity to celebrate their achievements during this joint farewell. Ron's last day will be December 30 when Dean Lenertz steps into his shoes, so if you see him around you can still say hi and goodbye. Graham on the other hand while currently on leave for the next 3 weeks will be back mid January until the end of February as he does a hand over to Anthony Ryan so you will have a few more opportunities to shake his hand before he leaves.
