Hurry Last Week to Book for Melbourne Cup!

Only 1 More Week to Book your Tickets: Get your bookings in now, we still have the ability to add to a few tables or set up new tables (Tables of 10). Bookings Close 12noon, Friday 28 October. Melbourne Cup is always a special day at the Club so don't miss the excitement of this year's event.

We'll start your lunch off with a glass of bubbles or beer on arrival, followed by a sit down three course meal, the fun and excitement of Melbourne Cup Sweeps, TAB facilities for your bet on the day, the Big Screen to watch the main event and prizes for the best dressed table, best hat on the day and a lucky door prize! Don't miss out and book now for the 2022 Melbourne Cup Luncheon at the Club.

Club Championships

Club Championships start this week Saturday 22 October. For those playing please check the Conditions of Play' sign that will be placed on the first tee.

Players with the 12 best scratch scores in each grade from rounds 1 & 2 will qualify for the next rounds.

Out of Bounds

Reminder to all Members & Guest when you hit a wayward ball (out of bounds), especially one that goes out of the Club grounds, we ask everyone to please report this to the Pro-shop and write in the incident book provided on the 7th, 18th. There will also be a new book and stand installed on the 6th tee very soon.

Your Membership fees and green fees cover wayward balls, so there is no liability to you the players. By reporting out of bound shots you enable the Club to claim any damages through insurance.

Please help us ensure any damages are covered.

Dear TRIVIA players we do apologise, TRIVIA is cancelled on Wed 26 - 1 week only. We will be back on Wed 2 NOV in the Main Bar. Give those brains a rest for a week to come back strong the following!

Women Vet's Party Day

Our Party Day is fast approaching - Thursday, 17 November. The format of the day will start with nine holes of golf (front or back), the Annual General Meeting 12 noon, Lunch at 1pm (bring your own sweets) and then Presentation of Trophies after lunch. Raffle tickets sold at the door. Price for Women Veteran member's lunch will be $20 subsidised by the committee, non-members $25. Start organising your tables (tables of 10) & hand in an envelope with names written on it and money into the Veterans box in the Women's Locker Room.

Trophies: We need some members to donate the following trophies.

The Edith Murphy Trophy, Foursomes Gross (need 2 members),
The best nett for the 1^st two rounds of the Championships for over 70 years,
Veterans Point Score.

Golf on the day: 9 holes either front or back, 3 divisions on each nine, prize hampers for 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rdin each division, NTP & straightest drive on each nine. Come and join in our fun day, all welcome. Entry sheets are on the bench in the locker room.
