Major Pennant Season

This Sunday sees the start of the Men's 2022 Major Pennant season with North Ryde Golf Club's team playing Long Reef at Long Reef.

2022 Pennant Squad:

Is tonight the night for the Members Cash Draw to go off? It is currently sitting at $1800 so be here to see if tonight is your lucky night for your member's number to be called! Win one of our fabulous meat trays beforehand by buying tickets in our Friday Night Meat Raffle and of course don't forget Happy Hour from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. Grab Your Bag Tag!

It is now compulsory for all members have the new North Ryde Bag Tags on their golf bags. Please pick up your's from the office if you have not already done so.

These RFID Bag Tags were introduced to provide the Board and Management with crucial data in course usage, choke points and pace of play monitoring. This data will be used to improve the flow and the enjoyment of golf for all players.

RFID tags do not contain GPS technology and are only recognised by the five tracking stations on the course at the 2^nd, 7^th, 10^th, 13^th & 18^th holes.

If any member has any concerns, please contact the office.

Veteran Acting Chairman

The Committee is delighted to announce that Charles Kinder, a current member of the Vets Committee, has agreed to fill the position of Chairman in an acting capacity, following the passing of Charles Titmuss in late November 2021. As the Vet's AGM is not until May when members will have the opportunity of voting in the next Chairman, Charles will hold the position of Acting Chairman up until the AGM.

On behalf of all members, we thank him for his commitment and wish him well.

Another great Nine & Dine evening yesterday, January 28 in perfect weather saw 52 players enjoy golf and delicious hamburgers and chips, the size of which defeated many. The evening was enhanced by watching Ash on the Club's big screens win her match to applause from all present. Join us for our last Nine & Dine for the season on 10th February when we will also have lucky door prizes.

18th & 13th Green Bunkers are Filled

Sand arrived yesterday, Thursday 27 January, enabling us to fill the last of the bunkers on the 18th and the 13th. More pathways are next on our priority list. Everything is certainly looking good.

2022 President's Trophy

This week our congratulations goes to the winner of the 2022 President's Trophy won by Michael Ward last Saturday, 22 January.

This annual Club competition attracted a large field of 204 players with our President, Mark Mathieson on hand to present the Trophy to our Winner. Michael Ward won the event with a great score of 41 points.
