Count Down to Melbourne Cup Lunch

Only 2 More Weeks to Book your Tickets: Melbourne Cup is always a special day at the Club so don't miss the excitement of this year's event and book your tickets now. We have a few spare spots on tables as well as a couple of tables still available. Book a ticket for yourself, friends and/ or family - tables of 10 (we take individual bookings as well).

The day will start with a glass of bubbles or beer on arrival, a sit down three course meal, Melbourne Cup Sweeps, TAB, the Big Screen and prizes for the best dressed table and best hat on the day! Don't miss out, book your seats for the 2022 Melbourne Cup Luncheon to watch the race that stops the nation at the Club.

Club Championships

Club Championships start next week, Saturday 22 October with the timesheet opening to members eligible to qualify on Monday 17 October. Players with the 12 best scratch scores in each grade from rounds 1 & 2 will qualify for the next rounds.

Please note, Flexible and Membership on Hold Members are ineligible to qualify for the Club Championships however they are of course welcome to play next Saturday, 22 October and they may book in for a game, if spots are available, with the timesheet opening for them on Friday 21 October at 12pm.

See handicap eligibility for the different divisions below (A, A res, B & C) this can be found on page 16 of your member's handbook. Wishing everyone a great game!

Course Update

Although it may be sunny or not raining when you play this coming week, please keep in mind to play to the current course conditions. It is still quite muddy and wet underfoot in the rough so take care.

Check the signs at the Pro-Shop for 'Conditions of the Day' prior playing.

Also when driving carts, please avoid the roped off areas, drive slow and drive as much as possible on the paths.

A Super Sunday

Thank you all for supporting Super Sunday last weekend (October 8), a great turnout, great music and much celebration of our Golfing Winners, see image below image. A great time was had by all.

Super Sunday is also one of our fortnightly CASH Draws with a very excited Ian Moffatt winning the $1000 members cash on the day! It took 45 draws to find a winner, that means 44 missed out, it pays to come along.

Save the dates for our next Members Cash draws the first is only a week away, Friday 21 October after our regular Friday Night Meat raffle. The next date is Super Sunday 13 November - put the dates in your diary and be here to WIN!

TRIVIA PLAYERS Please note: While Trivia is on next week 21 October, due to a private function, TRIVIA on Wednesday 26 October will be cancelled. We will be back in full strength the following week Wednesday 2 November.

Neighbours

As a local community Club, North Ryde Golf Club prides itself on being a good neighbour and we ask our Members and visitors alike to keep this in mind.

Please ensure you park in designated spaces in the Club and Club surround (adjacent streets). Ensure you do not block or restrict local residents from getting out of their driveways. Please be aware there are parking officers checking the local streets and you could be fined if parking incorrectly.

We also ask everyone to treat each other, staff and our neighbours with respect.
