Last Chance to Get Your Tickets to Lunch with some of Australia's Sporting Legends

Don't miss out, grab a few mates and join us at the Club this coming Friday 23 September 12-4pm for a fabulous afternoon comprising of an all-inclusive 2 course lunch and a 4 hour drinks package along with plenty of laughs, stories and entertainment.  Mingle with sporting legends, Mark Taylor (former Australian cricketer, current Cricket Australia director and Nine Network commentator), Paul Langmack (former rugby league coach and representative and premiership-winning player) and Dave Stanley (Sky Sports Racing Guru). These special guests will be sharing tales and tips from their glory days.  MC on the day is Sports Director of Australian Radio and WSFM fame, Jim Dolan. It's going to be huge!

Our most recent lucky winner of the $1,000 Members Cash was John McKie last Sunday 11 September at our Super Sunday afternoon/evening. Johnny, being a good sport, happily shared some of his winnings by paying for a round at the bar.

Your next opportunity to WIN some CASH will be Friday Night 23 September after our ever popular weekly Meat Raffle. All you need to do, to win, is be there with your member card and await to see if your lucky member number is drawn! Remember we draw until we have a winner!

Cash Draw Diary Dates: Moving forward Super Sunday with free music, presentations and $1,000 Members Cash Draw will now be the 2nd Sunday of each month, the 4th Friday Night of each month after our weekly Meat Raffles will be the second of the monthly Cash Draws. That's right you get two chances every month to win the CASH.

Call to the Starting Tee

Rule 14:2 (Club By-Laws):  Please endeavour to be at the Pro-Shop 20-15 minutes prior to your tee-time. Every Member participating in a competition must report to the Starter at least 15 minutes prior to his or her allocated time. 

Keep in mind the Starter can call you to the tee early (up to 15 minutes) prior your allocated slot to keep the competition moving.

To help players tee off, we have reserved the 9am and 10am spots to provide a buffer to assist teeing off on time.


Public Holiday Thursday 22 September

National Day of Morning the "Dragon on the Green" will be closed. The Golf Course, Half way Bar and Main bar will remain open for members and guests

Social Green Fee Increase

The Board continually reviews operational practices and costs in an effort to maintain Members and Visitors rates as reasonable as possible. This often results in the need to adjust prices and rates throughout the year.

From Saturday 1 October there will be an increase to the Members Social Green Fee on Fridays. This will change to $20 and include a complimentary drink.

To claim your complimentary drink please surrender your social green fee receipt at the applicable bar on the day of your game.

Introducing New Staff Member, Jay

Jay Cossittini, a local from North Ryde recently joined our team, in fact, very recently with his first shift last night Thursday, 15 September.  Jay is a carpentry apprentice and a keen soccer player. He also has an interest in rock climbing and cars that keeps him busy.  

With Jay's welcoming smile and sunny disposition he is a welcome addition to our team. He comes to us with customer service skills, gained while still at school, from working at both KFC and Cox's Road Hardware.

Vale - Meg Stubbs

It is with our deepest regret we advise our members that Meg Stubbs a long term member of North Ryde Golf Club since 1988 passed away Tuesday 13 September 2022 aged 86 years. 

Dearly loved wife of past member Jim Stubbs (D), loved and loving Mother of Robert Stubbs and Christine Maiden, Mother-in-Law of Alison Stubbs and Doug Maiden. Also much treasured Grandmother of Matthew, Joshua, Jacob, Mitchell and Ashleigh.

A funeral service to celebrate Meg's life, will be held: Monday, 19 Sept at 1:15pm, Northern Suburbs Memorial Gardens & Crematorium, 199 Delhi Rd, North Ryde.  Farewell old friend.
