New Year Operating Hours

With the New Year Holiday Break please note some operating change of opening and closing hours as per the dates below.

Subscriptions

The 2023/24 Member Subscriptions have now been sent. If you have not seen it in your inboxes please check your junk folders in case we end up there. If your subscription notice is in the junk folder please make us a trusted email. If you have not received your subscription email notice within the next two weeks please let the office know by email office@northrydegolfclub.com.au and we will resend. For those members without an email address, your notices will be mailed.

Also remember to use any of your left over house credit in the Clubhouse (bars or restaurant), transfer all prize money and redeem golf balls won by end of February 2023.

Fixtures 2023

Dear Members, the January, February and March 2023 Fixtures are up on the Members page of the website for you to access while we await our 2023 Members handbook to be printed.

In the meantime, we wish all our Members and Guests a Happy New Year and good golfing as we move into 2023.

Save the Dates for 2023

Put Wednesday 18 January in your diary for the resumption of our weekly TRIVIA nights. After the Christmas and New Year Holiday break the team will have some great new Trivia Questions ready for you.

Our weekly Friday Night Meat raffles will be back with us on Friday 3 February giving our wonderful volunteers a bit of time to take a breath before they are back hosting our Friday Meat Raffles again - thanks guys for all your hard work in 2022!

Don't forget we still have Friday Night happy hours from 4:30pm-6:30pm, a wonderful deck looking over our greens to relax on with a drink at the end of the day and of course our popular Chinese Restaurant, Dragon on the Green to enjoy a wonderful meal and avoid doing the dishes.

An Unknow Golfer's New Year Resolutions

1. Play More Golf
2. Set realistic goals, I need to accept that winning a green jacket is not in my future
3. Stop hitting my golf balls into hazards, including EVERY BUNKER or DAM on the course
4. Stop procrastinating with my short game practice or in fact any practise
5. Exercise more, I vow to walk the course more often
6. Keep the ball in the short grass - ideally the course's grass, not the neighbour's
7. Score better than my age, I just hope I live until 110
8. Get a hole-in-one
9. The biggest New Year Resolution, is to have fun and enjoy!

Whatever your goals are for 2023, we wish you the best of luck. Remember that golf should be fun - if we all resolve to take ourselves a little less seriously, think of others on the course (play ready golf), no matter the level of golfer - golf will be the activity that brings you joy and fitness in 2023.
