Dear Playing Members,
Through the many recent changes in permitted travelling distances, we have been looking closely at our membership. We know that a number of members are missing out on games due to either the local government area of where they live and more recently through living more than 5km away from the Club.
In line with the current travel restrictions, you will need to live within 5km of the Club you would like to attend. Please note that as of Monday 23 August, further restrictions have been imposed on residents in the 12 LGAs of concern which incorporates the Parramatta LGA. We are looking at options to cater for one hour of exercise, if at all possible, for these residents where they reside within 5km of the Club.
We have reached out to a number of Clubs based on the distribution of our membership. All other clubs in Sydney are also fielding the same concerns with their members, however we have been fortunate to have initiated limited time swaps, these partially commence this coming Monday 23 August, at the following clubs:
Concord, Pennant Hills, Monash, Pymble, Ryde-Parramatta, Asquith, Killara and Avondale.
As at the time of writing and committing to next week's timesheets, some of the other clubs we approached are still undertaking reviews and working with their memberships and Boards regarding entering into reciprocal arrangements. The current list of reciprocals may expand in the next few weeks.
Please contact Graham at the office via e-mail at gm@northrydegolfclub.com.au to register your interest and he will aim to accommodate your request with the spots we have been allotted. These spots are quite limited so you may need to wait a week or so but we will endeavour to get you a game - please do not contact the reciprocal club directly.
Each of the above listed clubs have their own protocols which we acknowledge. We note that due to the current seasonal timing, like North Ryde, over the next few weeks each of the reciprocal clubs will be undertaking renovations so some of the time swaps won't actually commence until Monday 30 August.
